Announcing the Launch of the Bike Friendly Business Campaign!
Transportation Alternatives is excited to launch the Bike Friendly Business Campaign. The campaign is part of the Biking Rules education and encouragement campaign and is a great way to demonstrate your business' commitment to going green. It will serve as a way to attract cyclists and pro-cycling customer--a group that has grown by over 66% in NYC over the past three years. T.A. will work with two categories of Bike Friendly Businesses. If your restaurant employs working cyclists, you can become a Bike Friendly Business by having these employees sign on to the Streetcode--a commitment to uphold safe, legal cycling behavior on NYC streets. Alternately, you can also qualify by giving a small discount to customers who arrive by bicycle as a gesture of your support for bicycling in NYC.
